In today's world, the war is also fought with words & ideas, everyone can and should contribute.
Who can fight this battle better than anyone else?
Not scholars, even though they are needed to build the solid basis for what we say.
Not generals or soldiers, who know how to handle firearms, but not fiery language, effectively.
Not only politics
Not only journalists,
MARKETERS are.
Indeed who is better placed than marketers to understand the power of words, images, and ideas?

We are worried by the turn of events towards ever more intolerance and authoritarianism. We understand that maintaining or restoring democracy is the affair of everyone. We want to use our professional skills to promote democracy, understood as separation of powers, pluralism, rule of law, equal right for every human to participate to governance.
You can write to us through any of the social media account below or write an email to request--at--marketingfordemocracy.org
Yep, true, but shouldn't we at least start somewhere? There are always tons of arguments not to do anything.
There are tons of profession-based NGOs: Doctors without Borders, Reporters sans frontieres, etc. Isn't it time marketers get their own?
Founding members are based in Switzerland, so is the association.
No one! This is pure volunteer work.
Not yet.
